The glory of God is man fully alive

The Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people.
They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.
How attractive and beautiful they will be ! - Zech (9:16-17)

"have you no other daughters?" "no," said the man. "There is a little stunted kitchen wench which my late wife left behind her, but she cannot be the bride." The King's son said he was to send her up to him, but the step mother answered, "Oh no, she is too dirty, she cannot show herself!" But he insisted on it, and Cinderalla had to be called.

A familar story? Yup, repeated in many forms too. Frog to prince, Neo the nerd to Neo the superhero, Strider- the lone ranger to Aragorn the King. Be in fairy tales or fantasy stories or crazy sci-fictions, there is a similar plot- a plot to shape and transform someone ordinary or less than ordinary to hero or heroinee.

Isnt this pretty much the same in the bible? Moses who was driven out of out eygpt came back after seeing a burning bush to lead His people out of eygpt. Peter, who denied Christ 3 times, a mere fisherman, did miralces and spoke like no one during pentacost. David, a young boy- untrained in many ways, slewed the great and mighty Goliath.

This is what God has been telling us over and over again. We are transformed. We are changed, as He has given us a new heart. A new heart. So count yourself dead to sin and choose to live from the new heart(romans 8:13). It is true sin still bug our life everyday, thats why even paul says- things that i want to do i do not do, things that i do not want to do i do. Yes we do need to crucify our flesh on a daily basis. But more importantly we need to live by the spirit.

A new heart. Yes we have a new heart. So dont hold back. Go, go and be the Cinderalla/Neo/Superman for Christ. His glory is on you, do not put a veil and cover His glory. It is time to shine like stars- and you will.
